iHeart Music Radio Awards 2021 anuncia indicados

A equipe da iHeart Music Radio revelou nesta quarta-feira (7) os indicados para o iHeart Music Radio Awards 2021. A premiação, cancelada no ano passado por conta da pandemia no novo coronavírus, marcou a cerimonia para o dia 27 de maio, em Los Angeles, no palco do Dolby Theater. Dentre os indicados, aparecem os cantores The Weeknd, Dua Lipa e Harry Styles.

Roody Ricch, uma das maiores revelações do gênero rap e trap do ano passado, domina as indicações deste ano com sete nomeações. Em contraste ao Grammy, a organização desta premiação indicou The Weeknd a seis categorias, número este que Harry Styles também aparece. Estes são os músicos com maior presença no prêmio.

Já entre as mulheres, Dua Lipa e Megan Thee Stallion são as mais indicadas. Stallion conseguiu muito destaque no ano passado pelas canções “Savage”, no qual o remix foi feito com a lendária estrela Beyoncé, e “WAP”, parceria entre ela e a rapper Cardi B. Lipa também não está atrás, com o fantástico hit “Don’t Start Now” indicado na categoria Música do Ano.
